And also allow for alt coins and Bitcoin to scale- Remember Lightning Network? They could also one day allow for cryptos to interact with each other, thus opening the door for so many possibilities. Understanding Blockstream: https://thecontrol.co/understanding-blockstream-25af2b6f0084 So Blockstream funds the development of Bitcoin Core, which is the main Bitcoin network client software. Blockstream is a blockchain technology company that also boasts itself as being the originator of side chains. Whether or not that’s true, they were at least one of the first and still a major player that is pursuing this big idea. https://blog.blockchain.com/tag/blockstream/ Let’s break down what a sidechain is. In laymen’s terms, sidechains run parallel to a main blockchain, like bitcoin’s blockchain for example. They use a two-way peg, meaning you can move your bitcoin from the main bitcoin blockchain, to the sidechain, and then back again. This is done by essentially locking away your bitcoin from the main blockchain while it is in use on the sidechain, and they are then released once you prove they are no longer being used on the sidechain. The first side chain is called Elements Alpha. It’s a tesnet where developers can utilize the open source code to contribute to the project and discover ways to improve the bitcoin blockchain. Other projects for side chain implementations include the likes of Rootstock. The developers at Rootstock, or RSK have announced at consensus 2017 the release of Ginger, which is their open sourced testnet. Ginger is aimed at providing more functionality to the Bitcoin Network like smart contracts, increased scalability and a new revenue stream for miners. http://media.rsk.co/rsk-announces-the-global-release-of-ginger-the-open-source-testnet/ https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/guides/what-is-rootstock/ As always in crypto land, it’s not always sunshine and roses, there are still some kinks to work out with side chains until they can be considered ideal. One of the arguable weak points of sidechains is the fact that federations are a select few who ultimately call the shots and determine if/when the coins you use between the main blockchain and the sidechain are locked up and released. This is a centralization of the whole system, and whoever is behind the sidechain will determine who is included in its federation. Trusting a dozen or so individuals to authorize all transactions can be seen as a major security flaw. One other weak point is the fact that sidechains will need it’s own miners. This could pose a problem when considering that these miners will need to be monetarily incentivized. One way to fix this is by implementing merge mining. T his is the process of allowing two different crypto currencies based on the same algorithm to be mined simultaneously. It allows low hash powered crypto currencies to increase the hashing power behind their network by bootstrapping onto more popular crypto currencies. https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/guides/what-is-merged-mining-bitcoin-namecoin-litecoin-dogecoin/ I’m sure that there are Bitcoin maximalists out there who see this development of side chains for Bitcoin as a nail in the coffin for Ethereum. Because sidechains have the potential to provide Bitcoin with the ability to integrate smart contracts, this does seem to take an edge away from Ethereum in terms of services provided. However, I will always believe in the robust development team behind Ethereum and their ability to work together to constantly produce innovative new projects. So don’t say goodnight to Ethereum. Instead, I’d like you to consider how side chains can open the door for different cryptocurrencies to work together and take advantage of their strengths.

Sidechain White Paper: Decoupled Consensus Between Chains : Horizen

01:09
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and worldwide payment system. It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator. The network is peer-to-peer and transactions take place between users directly, without an intermediary. These transactions are verified by network nodes through the use of cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin was invented by an unknown person or group of people under the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009. Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. As of February 2015, over 100,000 merchants and vendors accepted bitcoin as payment.[14] Research produced by the University of Cambridge estimates that in 2017, there are 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin. Drivechain - Sidechain Privatization (4/5) - The Benefits of Running Any Program (are Nonexistant)

17:47
Empirically, what benefits result from Permissionless Implementation (in contrast to Miner privatization)? When Bitcoin's messages were made more flexible by Ethereum, what new services were made possible as a result? The answer is disappointing: the new uses were mostly of a single new category -- the Casino. The entire remainder could be grouped into a mere two additional categories -- Oracles and Names. The Blockchain has been referred to as "The Trust Machine". However, a Casino involves a different type of trust than a Bank. Casinos [1] consume disposable income to provide a brief experience, [2] they exist in a competitive environment, and [3] they have custody of a small amount of funds for a small amount of time. A Bank (comparable to Bitcoin) is almost the exact opposite -- [1] stores up funds for further use, [2] has monopoly power over their customer's funds (if you fail to withdraw from a frozen Barclay's account, you cannot "take your withdrawal business elsewhere" to Bank of America), and [3] holds a large amount of funds for a large amount of time. Money is sent to Casino-types ("value-accepters") in many ways, but it is sent to Bank-types ("value-storers") in very few ways. In fact, the structure of a blockchain -- everyone downloads and verifies everything -- implies that they will only be efficient where "what other people do" affects you. With Money this is true (as no one wants to end up holding a counterfeit bearer asset), but with Contracts it is false (I couldn't care less about my neighbor's car payments). This argument is applied *literally* to Slock.it, which *literally* does not require a blockchain. Moreover, the features of the blockchain -- censorship resistance, regulatory arbitrage, anonymity, open access, etc. -- contradict the concept of visiting a physical place at a known time. These conditions favor solutions which are *specific*, and not *general*. Of course, all views are my own and do not necessarily represent Bloq's or anyone's, and so forth ( http://www.truthcoin.info/#disclaimer ).

How to Earn Passive Income with the Lisk Cryptocurrency

15:50
Who doesn't want passive income? You can easily earn passive income with the Lisk Cryptocurrency! In this episode of earning passive income with cryptocurrency, we are going to looking at Lisk, the German based blockchain protocol that pays you in a cryptocurrency called LSK, just for holding the Lisk token in a digital wallet. Lisk is a unique blockchain ecosystem for decentralised applications that has been in development since May 2016. Lisk uses Javascript as its programming language, with each DApp having its own ‘side chain’ linked to the main Blockchain, allowing scalability and flexibility. Much like Ethereum, this will allow DApps to create their own cryptocurrencies, analogous to ERC20 tokens. Full disclosure: I own, invest, and stake LSK tokens. Drivechain - Sidechain Privatization (3/5) - "When Contracts Attack II" - Stealing Bitcoin

18:39
The Ethereum Thesis is that the following is useful: a "Blockchain Computer", where one can force the entire network to run any program(s), without the possibility of censorship. I spent 4 hours, in a sandwich shop off of Route 1, exploring the space of "bad programs". Here I present the worst -- once it begins to run, miners are forced to steal some BTC from unlucky investors. It is fully incentive-compatible -- the developer (of this attack contract) can even pay himself BTC, or grant himself arbitrary privileges, as a reward for putting in the effort. Hence, everyone would prefer that such contracts *not* run at all, or be prevented from running. However, this violates the Ethereum Thesis, regressing the value proposition to that of AWS (or similar). Of course, all views are my own and do not necessarily represent Bloq's or anyone's, and so forth ( http://www.truthcoin.info/#disclaimer ).

Tracking Bitcoin Transactions on the Blockchain - SANS DFIR Summit 2017

29:09
Bitcoins are a commonly-used currency among cyber criminals for exchanging goods and services and receiving payments from ransomware. While cryptocurrency claims to promote anonymity, the nature of the blockchain’s public ledger means that criminal activities can be traced and correlated. This presentation will cover a brief high-level overview of how transactions on the blockchain work and will focus on how to apply this knowledge in order to both manually and automatically map out transactions, associate bitcoin addresses, and identify potential cybercriminal-owned bitcoin wallets with the goal of providing context to the scale and duration of a campaign impacting your enterprise. Examples will include identifying a Locky affiliate’s infrastructure, attributing the Shark/Atom ransomware, and identifying “bitcoin exchanges” on the blockchain. Bitcoin Q&A: Sidechains and federated consensus

12:49
What are sidechains? What is Liquid and what are the use cases of sidechains? What are the differences to the Lightning Network? What do you think about Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance? BTC Bitcoin Backed Altcoins, “Side Chains”

11:27
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, a form of electronic cash. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user-to-user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries Transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin was invented by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009. Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. Research produced by the University of Cambridge estimates that in 2017, there were 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin. Bitcoin has been criticized for its use in illegal transactions, its high electricity consumption, price volatility, thefts from exchanges, and the possibility that bitcoin is an economic bubble. Bitcoin has also been used as an investment, although several regulatory agencies have issued investor alerts about bitcoin

Bitcoin Intro for Intelligent Investors: Part 3

06:44
PART THREE: Blockchain - Side chain and alt coins Solid Technical Intro - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9jOJk30eQs Nitty Gritty: Sidechains and Altcoins Credit to Pantera Capital, these are my notes from reading, contains some quotes and paraphrasing. https://cdn.panteracapital.com/wp-content/uploads/Pantera-Bitcoin-Letter-November-2014-1.pdf Subtle difference between sidechains and altcoins: Sidechain units of account are do NOT depend on intrinsic valuation. Rather, they can be thought of as =“bitcoins-by-extension” (they extend as a side chain from some particular coin. In this case, BTC side chains are very popular, but they are NOT considered altcoins, which are their own algo. This largely due to bitcoin making up over 90% of all cryptocurrency market cap. Bitcoin merge mined sidechain, the units of account derived from that sidechain, instead of, can only be valued in terms of bitcoins. -- side chain "unit of account" is BTC -- casino analogy (chips are the altcoin) -- miners can merge-mine, where reward is bitcoin-redeemable chips from casino -- chips can be cashed out (hence, BTC-redeemable) SIDECHAINS & ALTCOINS: Innovations on top of BTC: benefits of open source protocol! "Altcoins that fail to match the security of the Bitcoin network will ultimately perish or be reformed as BTC sidechains. We believe that, with the adoption of sidechains, altcoin market share of all digital currencies will decrease to NEAR ZERO!" "Altcoins currently represent only 6% of all digital currencies’ market cap." Pump and Dump: Sidechains less fraud prone We believe, in a sidechain world, fraud that has been typically associated with weak altcoin networks and centralized altcoin exchanges will be largely reduced. Sandboxed sidechains BTC sidechains will adopt the improvements that altcoin innovations bring to light. Moreover, sidechains better promote these features as a testing, development, and deployment environment that has a negligible risk of fraud compared today’s altcoin ecosystem. DAYS DESTROYED “Bitcoin days destroyed” attempts to weigh bitcoins by how long they have been dormant; i.e. amount of time since the coins last participated in a transaction. More accurate indication of Bitcoin network activity by adjusting transaction volume for attempts to inflate it. For example, 1 bitcoin hasn’t been spent in 10 days (1 bitcoin * 10 days), it counts as much as 10 bitcoins that were received and spent in a single day (10 bitcoins * 1 day). "Bitcoin-days" build up over time until a transaction involving those coins is carried out. Once transacted, "bitcoin-days” are said to be “destroyed". Financial Markets in Bitcoin "The meeting on Bitcoin derivatives was the single largest audience for a U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission event historically. One of the largest audiences ever for a .gov webcast with high Chinese and European viewership" CFTC head: "Bitcoin protocol or something like it is very, very likely here to stay." FT Bottom as Contrarian Indicator: Sept 19th 2014 "We’re going to stick our neck out and call this the end of Bitcoin." Ooops. BTC price up ~5% since (as of Nov 12th) ftalphaville.ft.com/tag/bitcoinmania/ Why they so negative? Bitcoin currency, according to the FT and BoE "in its CURRENT fixed supply form would expose the economy to significant deflationary risk if it was ever to be widely adopted by the public" BoE: "…the inability of the money supply to vary in response to demand would likely cause welfare-destroying volatility in prices and real activity." What about pegged sidechains? It appears to me that bitcoin is in fact NOT at all supply constrained, as it is extensible through branches 'sidechains'. Thus, bitcoin can be viewed as infinitely divisible. "On the level of assets, we no longer have a simple “one chain, one asset” maxim; individual chains may support arbitrarily many assets, even ones that did not exist when the chain was first created. www.blockstream.com/sidechains.pdf Furthermore, BoE negative view shaped by fact that large scale bitcoin adoption "would seriously limit [BoE] power to manage systemic risk". Well, duh, that's the point! Colour coins should be called corporate coins! Business and organizations will have to issue their own bitcoin gift cards (or bitcoin currency as token, or sidechain). BOOM $1 Billion idea ;)

Best Altcoin To Buy In 2018 - ECC - If you missed out on Bitcoin, get this!

03:04
Buy ECC (E- Currency Coin) https://ecc.network/get_ecc ... Video by Video4Commerce - https://www.youtube.com/user/Video4commerce/featured ...ECC is a next-generation blockchain cryptocurrency that uses mesh networks (independent side-chains) to achieve network consensus and scalability. Think Ethereum-like confirmation times (less than 1 minute) minus the congestion during high demand ICOs and kitty-trading. Even better, ECC is more than just another digital currency. It’s a multi-layered blockchain that sets up the foundation for many other cool applications, like file storage, messaging and mail. Think ARDR, but instead of multiple tokens, you can transact on network with only one coin and side chains. In a nutshell, I think the biggest reason ECC will be massive is this: ECC will have actual utility beyond just coins in a digital wallet and will be easier for the mainstream to adopt than 99% of the cryptocurrencies out there. See, most normies have trouble digesting the idea of digital currencies. Most cryptocurrencies are confusing to your average Joe (See #1 below). So mass/easier adoption = higher demand = higher price. These applications are what will drive the adoption and massive demand, resulting in big gains. These are the specific applications ECC’s team is focused on: 1. Address Name Service (ANS) Right now almost every cryptocurrency wallet address is identified via a public key (ie: 02a1633cafcc01ebfb6d78e39f687a1f0995c62fc95f51ead10a02ee0be551b5dc). This ensures transactions are sent to the correct party, yet they’re hard to memorize or give out to others for receipt of payments (can you imagine typing that on your phone or even on the computer?!). This is a big reason why cryptocurrency is still not “mainstream” yet. Most non-techy people do not understand and are very confused by the concept of public keys and personal wallets, yet most people are very familiar with the idea of “usernames.” ECC solves this public key problem with its ANS (Address Name Service), which maps a chosen “username” to a wallet address. So if your ECC wallet address was 02a1633cafcc01ebfb6d78e39f687a1f0995c62fc95f51ead10a02ee0be551b5dc, you can set up your ANS to be “Jake1990,” and people can send payment directly to “Jake1990.” Similar to how domain names made the internet more accessible to the masses, ECC’s ANS will be easier to use than most other cryptocurrencies. It’s exactly why newbies flock to Coinbase over Gemini (a superior exchange IMO). Because Coinbase is both newbie and user friendly! 2. Decentralized File Storage Currently data storage is centralized within major companies like Google, Amazon or Dropbox. These companies have 100% access to your data and will sell them to data brokers, advertisers, and government agencies (you gave these companies your consent to do so when you signed up, it’s in the terms and conditions).i ECC aims to split files into pieces (encrypted) and save them across various hosts (holders of ECC) to make sure they’re always available and safe. Even if someone does get a hold of your files, it would take a hundred years from them to unencrypt it, if even possible. Anyone can volunteer to become a host by offering up storage space on their computer and get paid in return. Let’s take a look at current blockchain file storage projects and their marketcaps: Siacoin: $1.3 Billion market cap Storj: $207 million market cap Maidsafe coin: $300 million market cap At the time of writing, ECC is under $55 million market cap. It will catch up to Storj within 3-4 months (since its side chains make it more scalable than Storj’s Ethereum based network). That alone would give a solid 4x return. 3.Completely Private Messaging App The third main initial application of ECC is decentralized censorship-resistant messaging. It’s pretty obvious by now that governments are spying on our messages and internet activity. Plus, internet companies are selling our data to advertisers for profit. With the repeal of net neutrality in the US, censorship is about to get worse while privacy will continue to be reduced. Even “secure” messaging apps like Telegram are not completely private because every message is still stored on their servers. (You might be thinking, “I don’t care about governments and big corporations spying on me because I have nothing to hide.” My rebuttal is asking you, “Well would you share all of your emails with the public?” If not then, you do value privacy!) ECC solves this privacy and censorship problem by creating a completely decentralized, encrypted instant messaging app- which later can be applied to email. An Invaluable Driver of ECC’s Price Read more at: http://www.cryptochill.com/ecc-next-50x-coin-criminally-undervalued-opportunity/

Considering the kind of freedom that Bitcoin has introduced to us, with it being borderless and peer-to-peer, and all it would be a real shame if it lacked fungibility. This could be a big problem down the road, and it’s an excellent reason why privacy features should be taken into consideration. There is one way that privacy and scalability can be added to Bitcoin’s list of attributes, it’s got a silly name but it comes with promising implementations, so let’s get into it. It’s called Mimblewimble and the entire project is tom riddled with Harry Potter references. (See what I did there?) But seriously though, mimblewimble has a really interesting way of tackling two major issues, that is privacy and scalability and it all has to do with the way transactions are recorded, or in mimblewimbles case, summarized. I found a video where Andreas Antonopoulos briefly goes over mimblewimble which can help you understand it, but there’s an even better video created by Jackson Palmer who really does a great job of breaking down how mimblewimble works and how it addresses both of these issues. I’ll provide the links to both of those videos down in the description. In case you’re not going to be checking those out, and you just want a brief synopsis, be warned that this is a shallow explanation and I think it would be good of you to take some time to familiarize yourself with these concepts. Anyway, basically, mimblewimble allows for end of transactions to be summarized in a way that reduces the size of the blockchain but is still independently verifiable. That’s how it helps a blockchain scale. It tackles privacy by essentially removing addresses and instead requires two parties to interact with each other. Initially I believe both parties needed to be online at the same time for a transaction to occur, which creates some obvious limitations, but this is no longer a requirement, although it would certainly be the fastest way to make transactions. So because there are no public addresses in the Mimblewimble system, only the parties who are a part of the transaction know the details of that transaction. This also sets it apart from other privacy focused cryptocurrencies which require you to mix your coins to achieve anonymity because a blockchain built with mimblewimble will have privacy built into the actual design of the blockchain. I hope this has piqued your interest and you’ll be digging deeper into this one. For those of you who are interested in learning more, here’s the kicker! Mimblewimble has been floating around the Bitcoin space for a couple years now and apparently it could be implemented as a soft-fork or as a side chain to the Bitcoin blockchain. Since these kinds of changes are usually pretty slow to manifest for Bitcoin, wouldn’t it be cool to see how this actually works on a real live network? Well the best you can get at this point is to check out Grin. It’s not exactly live as it only has a testnet to offer, but here are some other aspects to Grin that I think make it worth paying attention to: It is a proof of work blockchainThey’re committed to a mining algorithm that will keep ASICs irrelevant. They seem to have a strong dev team It’s written in the programming language Rust which further facilitates speed and scalability.

The Lightning Network - the Bitcoin Scaling Debate!

04:27
LOOKS LIKE I MIXED UP THE LIGHTNING NETWORK AND SIDE CHAINS A BIT! THOSE ARE TWO SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES ... SORRY!! Here are some good links if you want to read more about this Timeline: https://hackernoon.com/the-great-bitcoin-scaling-debate-a-timeline-6108081dbada About Segwit: https://medium.com/@brenmcma/understanding-segwit-and-the-bitcoin-scaling-debate-c9f7170e9e79 Narration --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Lightning Network Definitely watch the video “what is Bitcoin?” first, cause it’s going to get a bit technical. The way bitcoin is set up only about 3 transactions per second are possible. Compare that to a couple of thousand per second on conventional payment networks like VISA. So by 2015 the bitcoin network was already starting to get congested. More and more people we sending bitcoin transactions and it was reaching the limit of it’s capacity. So the transaction fees started to increase as people were trying to pay to get priority over other transactions and have their transactions processed quickly by the validators. It was pretty obvious that something needed to be done to increase the number of transactions that were possible per second. Two solutions were proposed and bitcoiners split up into two camps each supporting one of the solutions. The first solution was an obvious fix. The reason the number of transactions is limited is that blocks are limited to only 1 MB. Blocks are the groups of transactions that are appended every 10 minutes. So basically that means that the ledger that records the transactions can only be appended by 1MB worth of transactions every 10 minutes. Now one camp says, we need a fast solution or people are going to stop using bitcoin. The most obvious solution is to increase the block size. Just change it from 1MB to 2 or 8 or 32. But the other camp think that that’s a bad idea because on one hand it would be an upgrade where people on the network who hadn’t upgraded wouldn’t be able to use bitcoin anymore. Usually the developers had done their best to make the updates backwards compatible with the older software versions so that people who didn’t upgrade wouldn’t get kicked off the network. But more importantly they are worried that that could make the bitcoin network less distributed and more centralized. How so? So remember all the features that needed to be added in our thought experiment in the video “what is Bitcoin?” In order to distribute the ledger among the validators and then keep the copies synchronized and avoid tampering? That ends up being a pretty massive infrastructure. But it’s important that as many people as possible participate in maintaining the network, not just as transaction validators but also as what are called nodes. Nodes store an updated version of the ledger without participating in the validating. Transaction validators contribute processing power and memory, nodes only contribute memory, but they play an important role in keeping the network distributed, keeping it from centralizing. Whoever participates needs to have a copy of the entire blockchain on their computer. So the more transactions happen per block, the faster the blockchain will grow and the harder it will be to maintain by regular people and the smaller the network will be and the more vulnerable the network will be. Some counter that computers are getting faster and memory is getting cheaper faster than the blockchain would increase so it doesn’t matter, but let’s move on. So what is the other camp proposing? The lightning network. It’s basically a system where the bulk of small transactions happen in side chains instead of the bitcoin block chain. Think of it like this. Alice and Bob do a bunch of transactions. Bob owns a supermarket and Alice does her grocery shopping there. So they record their transactions and every once in a while update the bitcoin blockchain with 1 consolidated transaction. The other cool thing is that the side chains would be run by nodes, which would be able to charge a small transaction fee too. So that would even encourage a larger decentralization of the network, because more people would have an incentive to run nodes and not just the validators would be profiting from securing the network. So but for that to work that camp needed to pass a fix called Segwit to the software that corrected a bug that was allowing people to change their transaction IDs in the middle of a transaction. It was a huge debate but eventually the bug fix was accepted. Now we should see the lightning network rolling out. But so far unfortunately there isn’t much. That’s maybe because it’s ...

Vechain Coin Review | Cryptocurrency (VEN)

10:50
Vechain Coin Review! VeChain is a blockchain-enabled platform that is designed to enhance supply chain management processes. By utilizing tamper-proof and distributed ledger technology, VeChain provides retailers and consumers with the ability to determine the quality and authenticity of products that are bought. From product source materials, to servicing history, and spare part replacements, every single piece of information about the supply chain movement of a product can be recorded and verified to bring about a supply chain management ecosystem that is secure for all participants. VeChain plans to achieve this secure supply chain management ecosystem via the method of asset digitization. VeChain enables manufactures to assign products with unique identities to the platform. This will allow manufacturers, supply chain partners, and even consumers, to track the movement of products through their supply chain. VeChain makes use of its radio- frequency identification technology, to mark and track a product. (RFID) tag, to be used for each product. This method allows for the tagged product and all corresponding information, such as the supply chain activities of the product, to be translated from the real business world into the platform. Security is maintained on the platform by the use of network nodes. These network nodes can be controlled by businesses and organizations that are directly participating in the ecosystem. Network nodes may provide services such as: quality inspection, wallet services, and may even act as a private key management service provider. The platform will also make use of its own native token asset known as the VeChain tokens (VEN). These tokens will be used as GAS that is needed for smart contract execution. As well as this, VENs will also be used as an incentive mechanism, in that they will be awarded to network nodes that help facilitate the ecosystem via their operation. =================================================== 💰Coinbase Wallet! - https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a4bf2558441a304a0c1c801 Sign up and get FREE $10! 💰Binance Wallet! - https://www.binance.com/?ref=21867060 Sign up and get FREE $10! =================================================== ★ Any donation is highly appreciated. 🔑 BTC Wallet Address: 16EtKHG2rwH2NqA4MniK4JRhzPyv5AeiER 🔑 ETH Wallet Address: 0x1db0fa9a379e46cb205a39a0766e30d3e3d0d11e 🔑 LTC Wallet Address: LRcmBavhskBURqmw1sujV5LS8WUPvfaNj8 =================================================== ➤Ripple Explained: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSRomZboFVQ ➤ Bitcoin Explained: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBO-9VyFXb4 ➤Ethereum vs Bitcoin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d94l-_3B6dM ==================================================== Thank you so much for watching! ==================================================== Vechain Coin Review | Cryptocurrency | vechain price prediction | vechain explained | ven coin |

COINFEED HEADLINES OF THE DAY https://coinfeed.com Movers and Shakers Winners: Loom continues to bloom rocketing up by 15%. Zero X not too far behind with 14% after Coinbase added it as its first ERC-20 asset to its Pro exchange. Losers: DASH is our loser of the day falling by 8% down to $150 which is a far cry from $1200 last Christmas. The 3 cent price differential between Tether and TrueUSD continues. Yesterday’s show asked our members to pay attention to that discrepancy. And today we have a bit more information on what could be driving that. Top Headlines Which brings us to the Headlines of the day. Bitfinexed Bitfinex has suspended all fiat wire deposits for one week. As we’ve previously reported, they along with USD Tether have been in limbo seeking out a new bank. Peter Van Valkenburgh, a lobbyist for Coin Center, offered his countering views with examples of how crypto is solving hair on fire problems. Huobi even went so far as to include a warning to the PBOC in its recent statement, saying "If online trading platforms that are following the rules have to stop services, bitcoin transactions will go offline where they will be unmonitored, and will result in even more difficulty regulating." Digital currency exchange BTC-e was down briefly on Sunday, following a powerful DDoS (or distributed denial of service) attack against its servers. BTC-e was quick to confirm the attack and dispel fears, assuring users that it was just a minor problem, with no security breach, and would be fixed quickly. True to their word, the exchange now appears to be back up and running. Developer Adam Back and Canadian entrepreneur and investor Austin Hill have come up with a way to expand bitcoin's functionality with "two-way pegging". With this concept, bitcoins could be moved back and forth between the bitcoin block chain and another block chain called a side chain. But they will need the support of the open source community to make changes to the Bitcoin protocol. Some developers are skeptical, but Back and Hill are confident they will have the support they need, and more official plans by mid-May. Blockchain.info has now surpassed the 1.5M mark for downloads of its web wallet, just three months after hitting 1M in January. We spoke with CEO Nicholas Cary, who told us that "The team at Blockchain would like to thank the bitcoin community for its trust and support. We firmly believe that putting users first is the way to go. It is our mission to provide tools and services that build upon bitcoins core strengths and we look forward to building a better world through better money." Beginning on midnight of May 6th, Israel's new cryptocurrency Isracoin will launch into the first of its four phases, with an airdrop of 500 coins to interested businesses, and an ultimate goal of sending 50,000 coins. Iceland attempted something similar last month with the airdrop of their own national altcoin Auroracoin. However, it suffered a 51% attack and the ledger was forked into multiple versions, essentially rendering the cryptocurrency valueless. Cyprus police issued a warrant for the arrest of Neo & Bee CEO Danny Brewster on Friday, formally charging him with fraud in his failure to deliver £70,000 worth of Bitcoins to investors, as well as his employees, many of whom were never paid for March. Money & Tech's Perianne Boring attended the recent Inside Bitcoins New York conference and we'll be bringing you her interviews from that event later this week. But in the meantime, enjoy a recap of our previous event coverage from CoinSummit, available here shortly. Bitcoin Q&A: Will bitcoin become the world's reserve currency?

10:03
Could bitcoin becoming the world's reserve currency? Will it be more than digital gold? Why did gold not work out as a medium of exchange? Should we desire mainstream adoption if bitcoin becomes a mandated currency, or should we strive for currency choice? The only people who can afford to use surveillance currencies are those with a government that is not corrupt enough yet. These questions are from the Polish Bitcoin Congress (Polski Kongres Bitcoin) Warsaw, Poland, and the November Patreon session, which took place on May 12th and November 17th, 2018, respectively.
