FACT: There is no trope I love more than an alternate reality/timeline/universe. Stargate SG-1 (and later, Continuum) did these scenarios A LOT. And I love that. Early on in the show, Teal'c set out the concept that their own reality was the only one that mattered, relative to them, and the show followed on that thread for years, always trying to revert back to any original timeline or reality. But Continuum, through the outrage of Hank Landry, made an excellent point - how arrogant is this? Their concept of reality may be relative to them, but is it always allowed to trump others? I think it's such an interesting part of the show to consider.
This was so much fun to make, and was the first time I started and finished an entire full-length video in a matter of hours (Can ya tell it's revision season and I'm procrastinating?). I'm really happy with how it turned out, I will definitely be attempting more projects like this again. Although, I inadvertently made this look like a film trailer where Beau Bridges is the bad guy - Sorry Hank!
Also, it SAYS "May 2015", sorry about that, my brain is convinced that we're in May for some reason.

"Now I know that this is hard for you guys to believe, but I swear to you, I was experiencing an alternate reality."
"And you were there, and you were there, and there's no place like home."
"Daniel, when you were in this alternate reality, were there differences?"
"Yes. Uh, Teal'c was leading the attack on Earth. I wasn't even part of the program. You and Jack were engaged to be married."
"The theory is that there are an infinite number of alternate realities, some of them are very different, and some are almost identical."
"The multiverse theory of quantum physics posits the existence of parallel universes. In the infinite number of ever-growing alternate realities that exist concurrently with our own. The theory holds that anything that can happen, will happen, if not in this reality than in another. Realities can exist where we never defeated the Goa'uld, or the Stargate Program went public."
"Anyone else have a problem with that?"
"Which reality is actually real?"
"It's probably the very differences that set our universe apart from yours that contributed to our survival. Daniel's participation in the Stargate Program, Teal'c's change of heart, the fact that I joined the military."
"We're facing a very real threat in my universe, I need to start thinking about how to get back there."
"Sir, I don't think you understand exactly what would be lost if we're not allowed to return things to the way they're supposed to be."
"'Supposed to be' is relative, Dr Jackson."
"This is not the way things are supposed to be."
"If you were to succeed, events in the lives of thousands, if not millions, of people would never have happened!"
"We know each other very well. You know everything that I know!"
"You were willing to commit suicide, because your son had recently died - he shot himself with your gun, right?"
"Alright, stop it right there! My kid is fine! He's at home, and he's fine! What the hell is wrong with you?"
"We have a responsibility."
"But you don't have the right!"
"My goodness, people! The arrogance of what you're asking us to help you do is mind-boggling!"
"This world is dangling by a thread, Colonel. And unlike you, the rest of us will never have the luxury of leaving for some place better when things get tough."
"We are considering changing the lives of the entire human race on Earth, do we have that right?"
"If we don't, we'll live to see the end of the entire human race on Earth."
"Ours is the only reality of consequence."
