The EOS blockchain launched a few weeks and is still in need of good wallet support. Personally I created my EOS account in a non-custodial Atomic Wallet 🚀 It's a multi-asset universal wallet supports also NEO, BTC, LTC, ETH, XRP and others with built-in exchange, so I got all I need in one secure interface

hello Boomers I have a question. If I have registered my EOS Keys before June 1st 2018 have they been automatically transfer to my EOS address or is there an extra step that I should take in order for them to arrive at the registered address
ChampagneCrypto (5 months ago)
If you registered on time then you should have received a new public and private key pair. You can use any of the wallets mentioned in this vid along with your new key pair to access your tokens on the EOS mainnet.

Does anybody know how to transfer EOS from the desktop simpleos wallet to an exchange like Binance? Is it possible?
ChampagneCrypto (5 months ago)
Yes. Just send to your Binance deposit address,
SupremeRevival155 (5 months ago)
Our EOS is safe on the EOS blockchain after the registration process. Just leave it there until a hardware wallet is released. Yes you still receive the air drops by leaving it on the blockchain. if you want to verify, simply put your public key on an EOS block Explorer, and you can see your balance and transactions.

I went to the EOS London Meetup on 17th July 2018 and met Brendan Blumer and Serge from Block one and they are releasing a Hardware wallet in August and there may be something being released using the Apple IOS software too. Also Cypherglass EOS Block producer have a bounty reward of $100k to whoever can code the Trezor and nano S wallets and apparently there is someone that has done it but we are waiting for the code to be checked apparently there is an EOS Hackathon September 22/23 which will have a $500k reward for the hacker that can hack EOS or discovers any loopholes etc and also hack the hardware wallet. So watch this space you Champaigne nutters. shout out to all those Champaigne crypto maniacs following this awsome channel.

Any update on that EOS hackathon? any floors in any of the EOS software? I'm still deciding which wallet to stake my EOS on. Maybe SimpleEOS

EOS is scam.. no company required 4billion+ in ico... man. Now they are saying they need more and another crowd fund is coming.. such a shme.. also team are not focusing in product.. so many bugs in software and it is all centralized.. look at cardano very stable and continues product development.. and they are more focused in product.. I'm sure cardano will surpass other competitors

I'm using Infinito wallet (mobile app) and used to have Scatter. Comparing to Scatter (web extensions), it is much easier to use but the functions inside Infinito wallet are also not much as Scatter. Hmm... to decide whether to use which wallet, it depends on our demand - what do we want to do, what functions are important for us, what do we need inside a wallet, which is our priority. For me, an app always needs to be convenient, easy to use and mobile-friendly, that's why I love Infinito wallet. My priority is mainly trading and my work forces me to travel a lot, therefore, mobile wallet is the best option. I used Scatter for long time but it's really complicated. I'm waiting for its mobile support but it looks like thousand years so I just quit. Besides, I need a place to store multi coins, not only EOS so an universal wallet is much more preferred. (They're high ranking in cryptocompare, I guess it's quite trusted) Also, I've just successfully created my EOS account name for FREE on Infinito wallet (it's customized/premium name), no need to bid. This team is also very active, especially in Telegram. Anyway, think about what you want before using/switching any wallet. Both have pros and cons :)

also how would we swap the eos erc20 air drops? thanks!
Richard Singh (6 months ago)
hi great video! how do we swap our erc 20 eos to mainnet?
Richard Singh (6 months ago)
ChampagneCrypto thank you very much! is there any time time limit to swap by?
ChampagneCrypto (6 months ago)
You should have generated a new set of public and private keys when you registered your tokens. You can use those new keys with one of the wallets mentioned in this video to log in to the main net.

Question to the experts: I haven't moved my EOS tokens into a wallet yet (they are registered of course). Do I have to moved them into a wallet in order to receive airdrops? Actually difficult to find the answer to that question on the web. Thank you!
TiltedLidsTV (3 months ago)
those are prob your old eos erc20 tokens. YOu registered them when eos split from eth block chain right?

MarieS (6 months ago)
Same for me; however, I am not receiving all of them. I have not received any Karma tokens, for example. My EOS is still in MyEtherWallet (which i am wondering why i know longer see a dollar value for within the MEW wallet by the way)
MarieS (6 months ago)
This answer was helpful to me as well. Thank you!

A slight misunderstanding what you meant by "receive", if you just want to check to see if you are entitled to airdrops and they are pinned to your EOS account you can check on: https://eostoolkit.io/search 1) Click on "Find Accounts" tab 2) Enter in your 12 character Account name or EOS public key 3) Hit the Search button You will see your airdrop balance entitlement. To actually receive those airdrops in hand you need to install a software wallet. I believe you need to have at least 100 EOS to be entitled to some airdrops.

Thank you for sharing these information! For novice investors like myself who have registered my EOS but intend only to hold my EOS for long term, is there a need to use a wallet? Also, is there a need to create an EOS account?
Andre v d ende (6 months ago)
What i not understand is,eos had a 1 year ico.Why in that year they not made a solid eos wallet where everything will be ok.for staking, voting and airdroppings. Now its like a jungle to me.
Osho R (5 months ago)
I think they don't the responsibility of the wallet security etc
whizkid (6 months ago)
I don't think that would have been possible. BlockOne never produced EOS, they just linked them to eth, so only now we have a fully functioning mainnet with an actual producer. How do you want to create a wallet that holds currrency which doesn't exist, and also when it will exist, you don't know who will create it. That is to say, you need the blockchain so you can program the wallet onto that blockchain. It's kinda like saying "why didn't my parents buy my girlfriend a wedding dress before I was born?" , well because they didn't know you would have one and if so, what size she would be and all the other technicalities. . (^.^)

Thx for ur vid.My eos is registered and stay on exodus.I recieved meet, one airdrop there. What i must do now?I must go use simpleos wallet?I use the key and name they gave me on the eosautority website to create that wallet?Al the airdrops will go to that wallet then? Many people are struggling with that question for sure, but there is no info to be found .Mostly it is info for nerds. For people who are deep in it.For noobs like me,its hard to understand, and also becouse english is not my main language makes it more difficult. So,my eos are stil in exodus, what to do next? What i also not understand is,when u new in crypto, the first thing u hear is:never ever give ur prvt key to any.And now u must give them?
Mac7 (2 months ago)
Hey hey, how did you get on? Did you receive your airdrops in simpleEOS wallet or are they still on Exodus? Exodus slack channel gives you a link how to send your coins to other EOS wallets.

if you dont hold eos, where can you buy eos now where you hold the key? like can you buy on binance, then transfer to scatter, or any of the others??
SupremeRevival155 (5 months ago)
coinhawk crypto You can buy EOS on an exchange like binance. You can then transfer it to the EOS address with your own private key.

ALERT!!!! ALERT!!!. ...Apparently BP's have been ordered to FREEZE 27 more accounts, check this out https://cointelegraph.com/news/eos-block-producers-reportedly-ordered-to-freeze-27-accounts-reasoning-to-follow Smells a lot like ripple. Ridiculous a landscaper (arbitrator) can order 27 account frozen without reason.

Simple EOS is a nice wallet, but does anyone know why the airdrops wouldn't transfer with private keys from Exodus? Or would these show at a later update of the wallet?
J Wilson (5 months ago)
They do show up - make sure you have the latest release downloaded, then open it up using your private key. They all appear on the RHS.

Brandy Seymour Did you get an answer?

If you have no account in EOS, then you cant create one. You can ask someone, e.g. your friend or use service to buy one. Price to create new account is growing in EOS system on daily basis, so it’s good to have at least one account. Many airdrops are coming. One of services can be used is https://www.zeos.co

ChampagneCrypto so my eos isn't really in my exodus wallet?
ChampagneCrypto (6 months ago)
Delegated Proof Of Stake. When the main net was launched EOS tokens were automatically staked and 10 EOS coins were left liquid in each account. If you want access to your staked coins the unstaking process requires three days before they can become liquid and transfered from your account to another. You can manage your stake using the wallet links in the description.
