so at the time after clicking start recording even though you have a wav file already made and imported into powerpoint as a wav file you still have to speak a narrative while recording??? why in these video the so called teacher dont tell you how this works because I started the recording and there is no audio sound what am I missing? after saving and creating the video waited all this time for powerpoint to turn the powerpoint into a wmv and it finished with no audio what happened to the audio????? this doesnt make sense so you make the script in audacity all that editing to have to voice over again in powerpoint this is stupid... why isnt the audio being heard??????

thanks for this. I don't use timings but needed to have an audio conversation with my students as they go through the slides. it worked beautifully. thanks for the careful and complete instructions.

I am having a problem with Power Point 2010, seems when I save the presentation to my desk top before I zip it (I need to upload to blackboard), when I open it to check that it saved correctly it isn't saved correctly and the only way to see it correctly is to right click and click show. What am I doing wrong?
